The tires are extra wide (like around 2.25 inches), which can be a problem with bike racks, but it helps little children from falling when going over uneven ground (meaning, going off and on a sidewalk). The assembly was a little tricky, but I managed it. The brakes didn't work very well and adjusting them was very difficult.

I recommend this bike 1000 times over as a first bike. The assembly was so so easy, right down to the tires already being inflated. So easy. Such a great training bike. Loving it.

My 5 years old rode her 16 inch new bike yesterday with so much joy! She had a different bike last summer but was frustrated with it all the time, so after a couple of attempts we gave up. Weight of the bicycle is very appropriate: she was able to pick it over the curb without difficulties, yet it is sturdy. She mastered precise stopping with both back peddling and hand bar within a few minutes. Steering is easy. Pedaling seems to be smooth and after the first 15 minutes she got comfortable with a process from getting on, to ride, to getting of without adult supervision. My 4 year old tried to ride 14 inch l bought as well and unable to pedal but l think it’s age rather than a bike matter. Overall, would certainly recommend for 4-5 years old and above.

This bike was purchased by my husband and I for my son as a Xmas gift. At the time he was 4 , just shy of 2 months. He was very comfortable with a tricycle and we wanted to make sure he had a bigger bike with training wheels this year, as he def out free the tricycle. We could not be happier with this purchase. My son absolutely loves this bike and the color (plus the color bright so you can see from a distance - not that he’s going to far I mean the kids almost 5).

Loved that there really are only 5 things you need to do to complete assembling the bike. The only downside is that they use the same instructions for all models, so you kind of have to be a little more aware about what instructions applies to your bike or not. But still it is pretty easy to figure out.
I bought this for my son's birthday and he LOVED it! I'm considering replacing my older son's bike with this one. I love that it comes with a bell too (and so do the kids lol). A really well-made bike, no issues and we've been using it for about a week now.

This bike was a huge hit for Christmas! My son wanted a Red Bike and that's just what he got from Santa! My husband and I were very surprised at the quality and how easy it was to assemble! It was packaged very well and we couldn't be happier with the bike! It has been extra handy for my son to have something to do for exercise and just having plain fun during this Pandemic! I'm soo thankful we bought this when we did because bicycles have been very scarce during this time. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone for their child!

We ordered this bike for my grandson for Christmas 2021. He loves it and has been riding it this spring and summer. It was fairly easy to assemble and has been durable so far. It does say "Royal Baby" on it, which I thought might bother him, but so far it has not been an issue. He is a small second grader (47" tall) and the bike still has room to grow with him.

I have a 4 year old girl, was looking into a bike that would be a step up from her frozen princess 12" bike. This was a great choice. I researched on google, "top rated kids bikes" this was number 1. I love this bike, and so does she. Not too heavy, and her confidence on the bike has risen above what it was before! I highly recommend. Very inexpensively priced when you consider the quality of this bike! Thanks for reading.

Love this little bicycle. My grandson has really enjoyed it. It is a great transitional bike. He had trouble pedaling at first, but has quickly figured it out. We will soon be taking the training wheels off. The only drawback is how quickly he has almost outgrown the bike. But if i had gotten the next size he would still be struggling with it. Great bike! Great purchase!

We bought two for our boys a year ago and one of our girls outgrew her trike, so we got her one of these and ordered Red.
It came in Blue. She was a little traumatized and really didn’t want to wait, so we’re gonna stick with Blue.
Other than that, these bikes have been incredible for my kids. Just wish manufacturing didn’t mess that detail up. I do recommend!

I was thinking of spending more and getting her something name brand. Trek or Schwinn, I was so glad I didn’t pony up the extra dough. The bike went together super easy. 1 adjustable wrench did it. It’s solid, much more solid than her previous Frozen themed bike. She was ready for an upgraded wheel size. Bigger wheels help her glide and balance easier. Great bike, we added a unicorn basket and unicorn stickers to girl it up a little more. Otherwise a cool sporty looking bike.

This is a great bike. Our newly turned 6 yr old is very tall for his age (4'3") and we've had difficulty finding a bike that was good to grow into, appropriate size, and good for.his current new 6 yr old self. This.bike met and exceeds all that. Only.complaint is the brakes.dont work on the pedals at all and we thought it did. But our kiddos adapted just fine to the handlebar breaks. Its a lot nicer and morw.well.amde than a standard target or walmart.bike
Bonus. Its his fav color green.

Love this bike! We bought the bike over 2 years ago and our now 7 year old and he's enjoyed riding it. Assembly was fairly easy, material was metal and durable. Bike is a little bit heavy but know it's well made and durable. We've only had to replace the tubes after two years even with our son riding it practically every day and had to make sure to get the 2.4" tube which is not easy to find in regular bike stores, but available instead on Amazon. The handbrake is only for the front tire and a good way to get kids used to using the handbrake vs. the brake pedal. We got the 16" bike and have been able to adjust the height of the seat and handle bars to accommodate our from 5 years old to 7 years old and believe it will be fine for him until 8 at which time it will be time to upgrade to a bigger bike. I would highly recommend this bike.

This is our daughter’s first pedal bicycle with training wheels. She will be 4 in two months and is around 41 inches tall. This bike fits her great and has room to grow. I think she’s at or almost at the lowest seat setting. She is able to ride with ease and really enjoys herself on this bike.

Purchased the 14 in for my 5-year-old. He's average height, but only 3% for weight, so I was worried that this bike would be too heavy for him to use, as some other reviews had suggested. I'm happy to report that he's able to pedal just fine. Sometimes he gets stuck and it takes a decent amount of effort for him to get going again, but not a big deal. The bike itself is a little too big for him, but I figure he'll grow into it and we can use it for a couple extra years. Easy to assemble, sturdy, good-looking. Wouldn't change anything.

Very happy with this purchase for several reasons! One, the pandemic really made new bikes hard to come by as more people sought out outdoor activities. This is twice as cheap as any of the picked-over stock left in my area. Two, the quality is as good as or better than bikes found at stores like Wal-Mart, Target etc.. Third (and most importantly), my son loves the minimalistic design. He opted not to add most of the stickers that come with it. He dislikes how boys bikes seem to always have some kind of theme (superheroes etc.). He really just wanted something cool and simple. He is in 4th grade, 10 years old, and the 20" bike is absolutely perfect. I should also add my husband assembled in less than 30 minutes and without any issues.

I bought the 16" bike for my 7 year old son as his first bike. The bike was well packed. I was impressed with the build quality...the paint and the welds are well done for the price. My only cons are the manual is printed only on one sheet and the print is very small and hard to read. Luckily, I have alot of experience with bikes (built several from scratch in my heydays) so assembly was intuitive for me. Also, the front rim had a slightly slick surface so the brake pads did not have enough friction to stop well. I cleaned up the rim and pads with rubbing alcohol and it helped alot. Overall, great purchase. My son loves his new bike!

Bike came quick and 90% fully assembled. Just have to put together the handlebars (duh), training wheels, seat and pedals. My son didn't have too much fun with the junior Big Wheels since those wheels are plastic and tend to not "stick" to the ground. I went with the 14" inch size, glad I did. I'm sure 12 would've been too small. It's easy to forget that kids this age are so young and innocent that even getting them on the bike, you just expect them to know to pedal with their legs. But that is not the case! You still need to teach them that they have to pedal and show them. With everything, it takes time. My son has been riding daily and went from not knowing how to pedal to being a semi-pro not needing my help, knowing how to hand brake, use the bell and going up slight hills and curbs by himself. Glad I got this bike for a such as awesome price too!

It was easy to put together. It’s sturdy, looks good! She’ll can ride it now and as she grows we can adjust it to fit her comfortably. …. You pay for what you get ! I can see this bike lasting a loooong time ! When my granddaughter outgrows it I can probably give it to another kid so they can enjoy it and so on!

Customer service was good about sending a replacement free of charge although it took forever for the parts to come. I thought it was a lost cause and ordered and paid for the part myself. A few days after the free part showed up in the mail. Then after the part i paid for. Another thing is with training wheels its not made for anything other then pavement. My driveway is gravel but not that uneven with potholes and such. But my the training wheels are about level with the bottom of the back tire. So on any little slop my sons back tire does not touch the ground and he spins his peddle but bike has no traction.

My son wanted a bike forever.. He is only 3 years old and I though he was too young.. then one day he took one from the neighbor and realized he knew what to do... so I showed him this bike and he chose the color. My husband put it together fairly easy but there was some assembling involved. My son got on and started going right away.. .it took him a min to realize that pedal back is the break. but he did it in less than a week. the bike is really heavy (even for me) so he cannot just grab it if its not been "rolled" I am not sure if that is a good feature or a bad. but because it has training wheels it has not tilted at all... it feels very "Stable"

Such a great bike! We went with the 14” for 5year old. Was a bday present. He is a tiny bit shorter than most kids his age so his feet don’t quite touch the ground when he’s on the seat but he will grow into it fast. He used the bike for 2 days with training wheels then we took them off and off he went!! He loves his new bike. I wish it came with a kick stand but I ordered on hoping it fits.

Bought the 16 inch for my 5, soon to be 6, year old. I'm a women and put it together by myself in about 30 minutes. very simple to out together and no missing parts. it's very well made and was exactly what it looks like in the picture. the only complaint I have is that with the seat, it's impossible to have the seat in the lowest position. other than that, it's an awesome bike. I would highly recommend it!

We purchased a bike for the same price but ended up returning it and getting this. There was a huge difference in quality. I highly recommend this bike. We love it and so does our granddaughter!

Went to purchase my 4 year old a bike for his birthday. Went to a few retailers and found all of the bike handlebars looked weird and didn’t look right. My little guy likes red and he picked out this one. This bike is really worth the money. Very well built and sturdy. The only problem is the training wheels are not adjustable. I put some pressure to them to see if I could get them to bend like cheaper bike’s would have. No luck. As I said this is very well built. I had to take the training wheels off and put them in my vice. Even then they were a little tough to bend . VERY happy with this bike.

Our son is 4 (will be 5 in September) and we wanted to get him a bike to start out with. This bike is adorable. Super easy to assemble, adorable. We got the red one and our son loves it. This bike already has taken many tumbles with our son and we've had no issues. Also for reference our son is, at this point, probably 60 inches tall and around 42 pounds and we got the 14 inch bike (he's very tall for his age) just to give any other parents out there an idea of what size to get!

This was the next step up for my 5 yr old from his balance bike. Didn’t need the training wheels because he could already balance and the pedals came pretty natural. Tires are great for the street but don’t have great traction on gravel. We might get some different tires down the road. The bike feels heavier than my grown adult bike but maybe that’s better for safety. The water bottle holder over the tire is kind of odd because it ends up bouncing up and down and rubbing against the tire when we ride. Other than the above it is an excellent bike for the price and I expect it to last until we are ready to move up a size.

This bike is really good quality, sturdy build, great tires, heavy duty training wheels. The assembly was super easy, came with all the tools and took about 20 minutes! The 14" was perfect for my 38" tall 4yo, with room to grow.

My 4 year old girl cruises on this bike. She loves it. Her twin brother can't quite coordinate and push the pedals. Riding a bike is dependent on a kid's strength, coordination and determination. If your kid has all three then the 14' bike can be enjoyable for your kid as early as 4 yrs old.

The best first bike. I did a lot of research. As an avid MTB rider I wanted my grandson to learn to ride and hopefully develop the same love of peddle sports that I have. I also wanted him to learn as quickly as possible, I'm hoping he gets to the point that we can ride mountains together while I'm sprite myself. This bike has many feature that build confidence and make learning on it safe and fun. The large tires make it more stable. The handle on the rear of the seat, which is for the teacher to grab, is placed there to create a true center of gravity while learning balance. (Even if you can't afford this bike, when you teach kids to ride, never hold their shoulders, it's not our center of gravity and is counterproductive to learning balance, alway grab lower, in the waist area) The fit and finish of this bike is also very stout, it's a firm foundation, which completes the riding experience. This is, hands down the best first bike you can find.

We got this for our 3 yr old son for his 3rd Birthday (late January). He's brand new to bicycle's and only has experience with a 3 wheeled scooter and tricycle. Here's our initial feedback. I will come back to this review should my opinion change.
Pro's:
1) Good instructions which made this easy to put together.
2) All parts and bolts were in the package upon receiving.
3) Our son LOVE's this bike.
4) Great color & style.
5) Very sturdy bike (minus the con below)
Con's:
1) As other's have mentioned, the training wheel bolts like to come loose. A simple fix for this is either plumbers tape, or thread locker. We tried both and both successfully kept the training wheel bolts from coming loose. Otherwise, we'd have to re-tighten them each and every time our son decided to ride it.
Overall, I'd give this bike 4.5 starts (rounding up to 5 stars) The loose training wheel bolts aren't a big enough issue to drop this review down fully 1 star. A simple and cheap fix makes this a super sturdy bike for our 3 yr old.

I bought two of these:
The 16 inch red bike for my daughter who will be turning 6 next week. I did not take her measurements, but she is a size 5/6 in tops and pants right now for size comparison. The bike is great with the training wheels, but it is too big for her to handle without them yet. If I had known what I know now, I would have bought her one size down to start off with. For now, she can ride this with the training wheels to get used to it and we will just keep her much smaller bike until she has made a full transition.
The 18 inch blue bike for my 7 1/2 year old Son - Again, no measurements, but he is a size 7/8 for size comparison. This bike just fits with room to grow. Last fall, it would have been a bit too big for him.
Sizing aside, here are my thoughts:
This is a great bike! It is nice and sturdy and I love the look. (especially the fact that the red is still girly looking but has BLACK tires, not the dang white tires that most little girls bikes have) We live on a farm, so no sidewalks. Just dirt, gravel and grass to ride on. These bikes ride just fine on the rough terrain.
The 16" bike has a firmer white seat with what sort of looks like a hand grip in the back. The 18" bike has a slightly cushier black seat - like a normal bike seat. Neither of the kids have mentioned that they especially love or dislike their seats. Both bikes have brake, which is nice - although my daughter is still getting used to using it - it's a little big for her tiny hands. I would recommend getting the hang of that before going down any hills
And last - the assembly was pretty easy - They came mostly assembled already. It took about 15 minutes per bike (Putzing speed) to get everything ready to go. One bike came with the tires ready to go and one bike needed to have the tires inflated before riding.
Overall, these have been great bikes so far and I am very pleased with the purchase!

Back in college, I used to work in a bike shop that sold low-mid price bicycles. I spent a lot of time assembling and repairing them. Lots of times, lower-end bikes had lots of issues: bent parts, untrue wheels, misaligned brakes, etc. I had never heard of this brand before, but after reading other reviews, I decided to get one for my eight year old son. Of course, when it arrived, I gave it my usual thorough walkthrough. Initially, I noticed that the parts seemed to be good quality. Welds were solid and the finish was perfect.
Assembly was just like any other bicycle: pedals, handlebars, seat, accessories. All parts lined up perfectly on the first try. No fighting, no twisting and pulling, none of that. It also comes with some cheap tools to help with assembly, so you don't have to worry about finding a pedal wrench, or the right size metric allen. Once together, I started to look at the mechanics. Tires were very true. There was no noticeable wobble to them, which was abnormal for bikes in the $150-200 range. The brakes were adjusted perfectly. They were centered on the rim and had the perfect amount of pull.
Overall, it seems like a quality bike for the price and I am pleased with the purchase.
