This bike is wicked awesome and easy to put together. The front and rear linear pull brakes provide consistent, dependable control which is what you need for a teenage boy. The hardtail frame and front suspension fork combine for a responsive ride which is great and reliable. The bike pedals have just the right amount of grip. Huffy is a household brand you can trust. Great Bike, Bought it for my daughter, since I was having issues with my mountain Bike, I decided to take to the trail, I was amazed how it held up on the mountain bike trail. I have been riding it at Soldier's creek mountain bike trail. Where we had broken multiple Schwinn boundary bikes but this one held on. I wish they can make this in a 27.5 inch.

Great bike for my 13 year old boy. Not sure he needs 18 gears but bike works great so far. He loves the silver color and the size was perfect for him. We have the seat at the lowest spot now but he has plenty of room to grow.

Great bike for a great price! the only thing keeping this from 5-stars is that it's heavy. But of course we all know that the more you spend the lighter the bike is as they to aluminum and then to carbon fiber. So given the price, just over $220, I knew it would be a bit heavy, but my son loves it and rides it everywhere. Huffy is a great bike for kids.

The bike was right high for my 6ft2in 15yr old son. He rode it in our neighborhood. brought it back inside and attempted to air the tires up. Both front and back tires were flat when he sat on the bike. After my son, myself, and my husband tried to use our bike pump none of us could air the tires. It felt like something was stopping the air at a certain point. I placed an order for new tubes and a better seat. Aside from those two issues the bike appears to be perfect for my son. I dont write reviews usually but i definitely read them before I buy anything. Hopefully Huffy will address the tire and seat issues.

This bike was easy to assemble! My son helped me put it together in about 15 minutes! You need very minimal tools! The bike has a nice sturdy look and feel to it. Instead of the middle support beam being a cylinder shape, this one is more of a triangle shape, it's unique! The bike turns nicely, and the tires are nice too, but my only complaint is the seat. The seat was very lacking. Great bike overall though!

Overall this a great bike for the price. I would like to caution to others to pay attention to the dimensions. I did not realize this is a smaller bike. It says the height is up to 5'6, however, I am 5'6 and it is almost too small for me.

I got this for my 12 year old son for $248. And fortunately for me this was the last one and was already preassembled at the store. And though I can assemble bikes, this saved me time and effort. And upon inspection, I found the assembly very good since the brakes were ok and the rear derailleur was indexed properly. My son took it out for several miles and performs as expected.

I got this bike so my daughter and I could ride bikes together. The Gray 24” Mountain Bike was an excellent choice. It was a smooth riding bike in all different types of terrain. The seat is very cushioned, so no soreness after a long ride. The gears shifted easily with no restrictions. Great bike, great price, great ride! Two thumbs up.

My son was so excited to get this bike! You have to assemble the bike yourself. It was super easy to put together. The directions were clear and easy to follow the bike was together in 20 minutes if that. This mountain bike has really nice tires that help you get up heels super easy. The bike ride is super smooth even the seat feels more comfortable then most bike seats. The gears and brakes work amazing. With everything going on right now there isn't much for the kids to do with pools and most activities being closed. So buying them a nice bike to help them get out of the house and get some exercise is the perfect! If you're going to end up homeschooling the kids this year they have to have activities to qualify for gym credits so this is perfect to get them out of the house and help them earn that gym credit for school! I highly recommend this bike you will be happy with your purchase. We have been buying Mountain bikes for as long as I can remember even when I was a kid. I have never been disappointed with with any of our huffy bikes. It's a great investment.

Another great deal on a bike! Moved up from a 20" for my 10-yr old son who is 56" tall. Everything works great, all the basics. Has a derailer guard which I haven't seen before. Relatively easy to assemble, for someone who's been going through bikes for my growing kids at the rate of 1 per year. Don't know how long it'll last but I think my son will outgrow it first. And I like the Huffy brand - reminds me of my youth.
