I absolutely LOVE my new tent! Its super roomy, durable, great color! and just like the reviews mentioned, we had it up in less than 5 mins! It doesnt get any better than that! If I could change one thing, I would ask for more head room so I could stand up in the tent. Other than that, its perfect!

Hey, it was so easy to assemble that I got a bit worried that it might be a pain to break it down. But no. It was so easy too! And it even fit back in the bag with zero problems. That’s basically all I want from a tent.
The rest we’ll see after camping.
So far I love the door with mosquito screen and that it has many windows - We’ll need as much fresh air as possible.
I’m happy.

Very easy to assemble. Pretty easy to bring down the only thing I would suggest is to leave the windows open when you bring it down. I left the windows closed and struggled a little to get the air out. Overall it was really easy to set up. Very sturdy and made no noise with the wind at the beach. You can easily fit two full size mattresses in it. I love that it has windows all the way around.

I am 29 years old and this was my first time camping. My wife and I went car camping and after our multi hour (10+ hours of online research) search for a tent, this is the tent we decided on. Our criteria were 1) large enough to fit a queen air mattress plus a couple backpacks, 2) easy to assemble, 3) weather proof.
Here is what we learned! This was absolutely large enough for the queen air mattress and bags, and the large door made it easy to fit. Of all the campers we went with (a group of 20), this tent was the easiest and fastest to set up. My wife and I took a leisurely 10 minutes to set it up (beer in hand). That setup time includes taking it out of the bag for the first time, never having set up a tent before, and popping up the tent, securing with the spikes, securing with the guidelines, and putting the rain guard on the top. If it was a race, we could probably set it up the next time in 5 minutes. Taking it down was just as easy. Finally, the weather - we happen to go on the first weekend that hit frost at night. We were freezing and not prepared. No fault of the tent, because we should have had proper sleeping bags and clothes. However I will say that the morning due caused the sides of the tent to be a bit damp. We did not have rain, so I can't speak to that, but I do have my doubts. During the day it was warm, sun was out and the tent was HOT (completely opposite to at night). Based on others we camped with, all the tents (6 or 7 variety were the same, so this might just be a fact of tents). As far as wind protection, we did not experience high winds, but I am confident from the spikes and guidelines that this tent would hold up very well in wind - it seemed very secure. Also, the hexagonal shape would help with that.
Hope this review helps someone make their decision. Overall, I would recommend someone getting this tent for 2 adults or 2 adults +1 child (keep in mind my preference is a roomier tent vs. being packed in). Especially if you are familiar with camping and prepared for the weather OR if you know you'll have good weather.

Best tent ever! Super convenient!
Sharlene C.
Super easy to assemble and take down! I am pregnant and have a two year old anxiously waiting for the tent to go up and it was very quick and simple to do on my own.
Jennifer P.
Great value and convenient. Love the package it comes complete with carrying case.
Brittney N.
Fabulous! Very easy for one person to put up and take down. Love it!
Thupten G.
This tent if wonderful. We (two) used it for camping and backyard enjoyment. This is also easy to set up, pack, and store. The cover-bag that comes with the tent is also helpful for storing and transportation. Thank you!
Bonnie E.
Easy easy to pop up and take down. Like opening an umbrella. Had it up in less than a minute. Not sure about 5 adults in it but 4 would be okay. Liked all the zippered windows and the double zipper at the front.
Svetlana H.
This tent is the perfect size for a couple to go camping, plenty of room. It is sturdy and held up well in both wind and rain. It is also super easy to put up and take down. This is our second purchase. Highly recommend!
Jade U.
I love everything about this tent! Super easy set up. Less than one minute is all you need to set it up. It’s bigger than what we expected and it has a very good ventilation.
Roberta F.
It took longer to open the box than to set it up. It was a bit more complicated taking it down the first time ... I'm sure next time will be much easier
Mallory E.
Tent super easy to assemble and disassemble very lightweight can’t wait to take it camping this 4th of July week looks plenty big enough for me, my husband and two medium-large dogs. It’s supposed to rain will update on how well it holds up in water!
Nina T.
I wanted something that was light and easy to setup and this is it! This is my first tent and I really enjoy while at the lakefront.
Lacy A.
Exactly what we needed. We had it on the ground and on our trampoline and it’s large enough for two adults and two kids with ample space. Good material and it goes up in less than one minute.
Deborah W.
Loved the tent! Nice and airy with multiple windows. Kept the rain out completely. Roomy and sooo cute! very easy set up and break down.
Melanie I.
Purchased one, and then purchased another one for my grandkids!!! They love them!!!
Brenda Y.
This is a great tent. So easy to put up and take down. So glad I bought
Philip A.
Disassembling the tent was slightly tricky, but once I understood it, was easy. Extremely easy to assemble. I'm upgrading from a much smaller one so its very roomy.
Cazy D.
Tent was missing all 10 alloy pegs. Customer service contacted me and did an exceptional job rectifying the situation. I highly recommend this company! Tent held up to high winds and heavy rain while camping. If your in the market for a tent that fits 2-3 people this is a great choice.
Tammy A.
Don't believe all the negative reviews about this tent. All around great quality product, and very rain proof.
Bascom L.
If you want an easy up/ easy down tent. You can’t go wrong with this one. You can easily set it up in the dark, in minutes. My camping buddies were amazed.
Kelsey R.
This tent is very easy to set up and take down. The material is good quality, all the seams look good. The zippers function well. Inside the tent is very spacious! 4-5 people could easily fit in this tent.
Alina V.
Best tent! Generally I dread everything about camping, but wanted to introduce my daughter to the great outdoors with a little backyard camping. I could set up this tent by myself in about a minute, and take down was just as easy. The tent is spacious enough for my 6’4” husband. Fortunately we have not had to test it in the rain, but I see more adventures in our future.
Carolyn U.
I bought this tent to go camping in the Outer Banks. It is the perfect size for my boyfriend and I. It is very spacious on the inside, could probably fit a queen size air mattress inside easily. Took less than a minute to assemble. Incredibly quick set up! We can’t wait to use it, we are so excited! I would definitely recommend this tent for others to purchase.
Hillary W.
The tent almost set itself up, it was so easy! It's roomier inside than I had imagined and is super compact and lightweight to carry when folded up - comes with a nice zip-up bag to carry it in. Zipper windows, hook and side pocket to hold belongings are very convenient. I bought the green tent, which is a lovely olive color, blends nicely into outdoor surroundings.
Danielle C.
Perfect for my husband and I. Could’ve fit another person in but not 4-5. I’d say 3-4 person tent. Was able to fit a blow up queen mattress in though.
Ventilation was great! Set up was a beeeze!
Perry A.
This is a great looking tent that is incredibly easy to set up and take down. Even if you don't get all the air out, it will still fit in it's bag! It is very spacious and has great windows. I definitely recommend getting a tarp to protect the bottom of the tent because the fabric is the same on the bottom as it is everywhere else. It did great in Joshua Tree and I can't wait to have more adventures in this tent! It is so great my friend bought the same one.
Ben K.
I purchased the Automatic Tent because of its ability to easily setup and takedown. This tent delivers 100%! I have never experienced such ease of use when camping. There are instructions in how to unpack and repack, but honestly you really don't need them because it's self explanatory. Once you open the tent and see the connected devices, its as easy an unwrapping and extending. I had the tent setup in literally 3 minutes!
I highly recommend purchasing this Tent if your looking to experience and enjoying your camp time without the frustration of poles, strings and all the hassles of getting setup.
Smelly T.
I liked how quick this tent was to set up and break down....was rather roomy exept for how tall it was. Blew up a king size matress with plenty of room to spare for equipment. Great little tent for the price!
Robin Y.
My daughter wanted to go camping in the back yard and this was a great purchase for that and for all outings actually.
Easy to set up. Takes a little work to close up but still better than the old school frames and folding out
Emma S.
Since I cannot go inside my dad's house during this pandemic, I needed a tent so my dog and I could camp out on the weekends I visit. This tent appealed to me because it had windows on all 5 sizes and a big screen on the door. I bought a queen-size air mattress (it's actually smaller than a regular queen mattress) and it fits with room to spare. The tent says it is good for 4-5 people; I think it is better for 3-4 people, unless the 4-5 people are small. I have not had the opportunity to see what happens during a rainstorm. Set-up was very easy and takedown will be easier once I do it a few more times. I am able to do it myself.
Rayne Q.
Soooooo impressed with this tent unbelievably easy to set up and take down large enough for 2 people air mattress and all gear have camped 3 total weeks in it so far and is very durable very strong storms wind and rain with no issues. Would strongly recommend this tent especially for the great price. Strongly recommend a foot print for extra ground protection. If something happens to it I will be buying another
Jess D.
Very easy set up and take down. Very cute tent. I liked this product until it started raining. It says waterproof under product description but our tent would leak from the plastic pieces that hold the window shades in place (in picture) Ended up needing to borrow someone else’s tent.
Edit: the moon lence customer service is awesome and offered to replace the defective tent!
Chang X.
We like the tent a lot. The kids can set it up by themselves quickly. It’s like an umbrella that you just need a pop up at the top. It’s light to carry but pretty spacious. It has good quality with a reasonable price. We recommend it.
Mirna B.
Awesome tent. Feels like home away from home. Great buy. Easy to assemble. Easy bag carry. Cool tent
Dee S.
I'm 67 years old and put this tent up in 2 minutes! Easy Easy, however a bit longer to take down. The problem was I zipped all the windows closed, which held air pockets inside, making it difficult to collapse. Next time I would leave all the windows unzipped, so the screens were exposed and the air could escape as you collapse it down. First camping trip gets a 5 stars!

Due to the pandemic and furlough, our travel options were limited this year, then we came across this tent. Camping provides a safer, less expensive option to hotels and more flexibility on where we can travel this summer. I took the tent out of the package and set it up in our living room in less than two minutes. So much easier than our huge canvas tent! We can’t wait to see how this tent holds up to the elements outdoors.
Gabbie H.
I loved how easy this tent was to set up. It was so convenient at the beach. The stakes were also quick to put in the ground and kept the tent steady with heavy wind. It hasn’t rained yet so not sure about water resistance but so far I love the tent. It’s so spacious inside and easy to clean the inside. Also appreciate the windows inside the tent and the pentagon shape makes it very spacious inside.
Melin G.
I love that this tent is super easy and fast, for 1 person alone to set up and take down. The 5 sided shape makes the inside more spacious for storage of miscellaneous items, but does cause a disoriented feel - it is sometimes difficult to know where the door is. The pockets inside the tent are positioned too low to be useful. They drag onto the floor. The tent is definitely NOT waterproof. To be on the safe side, always string a tarp up over the tent.
David N.
After setting up a traditional tent with the children (and realizing late they don't know what "grommets" are), I was very thankful that our second tent was this popup tent. It was up in a jiffy, with no stress.
I love the dome shape, the bright orange, the storage pouches lining the walls, the hook in the ceiling for our lantern, the screen windows, the zip up flaps for when you want privacy, the water resistance, the perfect amount of space for two.
This was a great home-away-from-home, and I can't wait to camp in it again.
Joseph M.
This tent is a really good size for 3 people with pads and luggage. Very comfortable for 4. For 4-5 people it would be a little tighter if they have bags. It's also super easy setup and cleanup.Pops right up. And easy to fold down. Fits in the carrying bag easily. I don't know about water residence, but the material seems thin so I wouldn't' expect it to holdup against a monsoon. Probably worth having an extra tarp for the ground, and maybe a backup for an extra rainfly just in case. Nice ventilation with all of the windows open. Needs a better rain fly. But otherwise, I'm very happy with this tent.
Zack P.
We bought this so we could use it in the hotel for our four kids to have their own room. It was easy to put up once I figured it out since it didn’t come with instructions to put it up only to take it down. It was tons of fun and the kids all fit with room for one more! It was fairly easy to take down and it fit back in the original bag. I like that there aren’t any loose pieces to collect and put away or poles to feed through the tent. The orange color looks great and the zippers all worked smoothly and I love that it will have good ventilation with all the windows!
Dave H.
I bought this tent because it was my girlfriend's first time camping and I wanted something spacious, comfortable, and easy to setup/take down. This tent hit the mark! The automatic setup did not disappoint; it was up in seconds. It's also lighter and more compact than other automatic tents that I've seen. We fit a full sized air mattress and still had plenty of room for our gear. Keep in mind, you'll need a tarp/footprint as I don't think the floor is durable enough on its own. Also the rain fly is pretty small, but the windows zip up and seem well protected so I don't think it's an issue. All in all, this tent was a great value!
Kaz R.
This was my first tent purchase and use. After looking through dozens of tents over several days, I decided to purchase the Pop Up tent. I've been camping twice now and I absolutely LOVE this tent. It's lightweight and so easy to set up in just minutes (the takedown is simple and quick too). There is plenty of room in the tent. My boyfriend and I had a queen size air bed as well as two beds for our dogs.
I really like the multiple "windows", leaving them open allows for great ventilation but having the cover is nice too when you want a little more privacy.
I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this tent again and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a solid tent for a great price!
Eddie P.
I loved how compact it is! It arrived quickly and neatly packaged. Comes with a nice carrying case and sets up super easy. Easy to follow instructions! It's a lot bigger than I thought! I'm 6' 0" and I fit very comfortably inside with my wife, 11yr old daughter and mother in law. We were all impressed! To pack it away was just as simple. We are very happy with this purchase and I will definitely recommend to my friends and family!!

I often camp solo. I had a Coleman tent that held up very well and it wasn’t exactly difficult to assemble, but I always found I was a bit anxious about the process. Pitching a tent solo can be tricky sometimes. This season I’ve planned several camping trips so I wanted to eliminate that anxiety. After doing quite a bit of research, I landed on this tent because it looked so easy to assemble. I just came home from my first camping trip of the season and I couldn’t be more pleased. It was so easy to assemble I even switched campsites after the first night (to escape obnoxious neighbors). I would never have done this with my Coleman tent! It did thunderstorm for a few hours one night of the trip. I am happy to report - no water leaked into the tent. The walls were very damp to the touch, but if you can avoid touch the walls, it’s overall pretty water resistant. I am planning to waterproof it before my next trip just to improve the performance a bit. Bottom line - if you want a hassle free tent camping experience, this is the way to go!
Emily R.
This tent was easy to assemble, lightweight and spacious. It literally took 2 minutes to POP up! I had a wonderful first night!
Amanda Z.
This tent set up in less than 15 seconds. Maybe call it a minute, as you check to make sure everything is locked in place. Then another 2-3 minutes staking it down. It also came down super quick. I would say less than a minute for take down and fold up as well. One of my pics shows a queen size air mattress inside the tent. A Queen mattress basically takes up the entire space. I’ll try to repost when I get my full size in the tent. I would say it’s great for a family with two small children. However, it’s more of a 3-4 adults tent. I haven’t used it for a real camp yet, so not sure how it will hold up in the rain. I will waterproof and seam seal the water fly and the seams on the tent before use. I don’t know how people go camping without doing this. It might be overkill but the worst case scenario is you don’t do seal and waterproof and find out you have a leak in the middle of a rainstorm. So far, I’m super satisfied.
Edit: 3 nights of camping and no rips or tears. Still no rain, so can’t comment on that.

This tent is very easy to erect. 3 min total, 1 person setup...for it to take shape. Staking it out takes more time and is always variable because my camping area was mostly rock. Had it been soil or sand...different story and much faster. The good: Doorway and windows all have zippers that function well. Windows on every side including the door. Very spacious inside for 2 or 3 or even 4 people. Of course more people, more crowded. Packed away easily in the carrying case it came in. No issue with the 'factory fold syndrome' where things come out of a box that you can't get them back into. I didn't even carefully fold it up and it still fit in its case. Comes with 10 tent pegs. Guy ropes work well and have sturdy sliders. It rained a bit and no leak. Gusting winds 15mph and up did not bring it down or damage it. The bad: it is definitely NOT a 4season tent. Inside temp will be similar to outside temp. Included rain fly only covers the peak and not the windows. Windows will leak if they are open when it is raining so a larger rain fly is needed to allow for ventilation during rain and to keep the sun off or cold at bay. Door zipper will catch material close to it and get stuck so you have to pay attention to keep the zipper free. At 10 lbs and about 33 inches long when folded, it's not a backpacking tent. I used it for motorcycle camping.. High wind makes the slides flap a LOT and it was noisy enough to keep me awake all night. So if you buy a large rainfly to go with it, this should do well even in bad rain or colder temps. I used it at 58 degrees and it was chilly inside.
Justin E.
This tent can comfortably fit 4 adults at the most unless you're small adults, then possibly 5 but it would be tight. It is nice because all the windows make it great for good weather to roll through, and it also has the ability to zip them all up and prevents rain or cold wind from coming through the tent, so it is dry and warm when you need it to be. It was EXTREMELY easy to set up, my only complaint is that on the bottom corners of the tent, the pieces that you use to put the stakes through to put them into the ground are plastic, and when we put one of the stakes in normally, that piece snapped immediately. We ended up using one of the cloth loops near it instead, but the plastic pieces are definitely a poor feature. If you get this tent I recommend getting key rings to put through the bottom plastic pieces instead for the stakes to go through. Loved the tent otherwise.

This tent is probably one of the best you could buy. For the price I paid the quality is unbeatable, the material is top notch, the stitching is well made and you could tell that the manufacturer really put great effort in designing the tent. Me, my wife and our four daughters have enough room to sleep comfortably and that’s including our camping gears and bags inside the tent.
Setting up the tent for the first time by myself took less than 5 minutes and taking it down is just as easy.
We have tried the tent for a couple of months before writing this review, because I want write an honest review and point out any negative issues, but so far even rainy nights was not a problem. We didn’t experience any leaks during the wet season here in the Philippines. The windows and doors are also large enough to circulate air on hot days.
I used my rechargeable bike light during night time, I just hang it in the middle of the tent which is awesome at night time.
My cousin actually likes my family tent and he’s going to order the color blue, but I think that I’ll just surprise him and gift him the blue tent for his upcoming birthday.
This is probably my first time writing a review on an item. I just want to help people to choose the right tent for their family. Would I recommend this tent to a friend or family members... absolutely!
The priceless part is the quality time with my wife and 4 daughters. I hope this review helps and don’t forget to take videos and pictures with your love ones. I know we’ll have great time looking at pictures and watching videos from camping trips once all my daughters are all grown ups.
Matin K.
If I was homeless this tent would be the one. OK so here we go, the sun uvs penetrate the tent and does make it very hot inside while at the beach. It felt kinda like a green house inside. But what was missing was a cool breeze to compensate the blaring sun. I had all the zipper windows up and there is absolutely no wind that goes through it. So this make me believe if I was in the snow in a cold environment this tent would be absolutely wind proof and keep you warm no doubt.
Too easy to put up. I put it up by myself in under 2 minutes. Stakes I used are from harbor freight, there are only two kinds there. The metal ones and black plastic ones. I used the black plastic ones and they are far better than the ones that come with any tent including this one.
If you are at the beach you need a combination of shade and wind to keep you cool. Not one without the other. This is the only gripe I've had with this tent was that UVs tend to penetrate through and I think they need to improve on that. I honestly would stick with a ez up or beach umbrella because most that I came across have a white color underneath and I believe this is to block uvs which this and most tents do not have anyway
Anna T.
I love how spacious it is and how easy it was to install. Just cross the poles and slide it through the sleeves. I fit a queen air mattress inside with about 10 inches of space left. I'm 5' 4, my 10 year old and 5 year old have camped in it a few times a already. I love it!
Angie B.
Literally writing this from the campground second time using it - but 4th time opening and closing it because it really IS that easy!! POOF! tent is up - and sturdy! comes down just as easily comparatively to other tents - fold in squeeze and drop the center - roll it up and squeeze the air out .. fits into the bag again with some extension on the sturdy straps attached - but still
i knew my tent needed to have ventilation and this thing has it!! it IS the fresh air im out here to enjoy after all .. the zippered windows are so wasy to open & close with a flick - all the zippers are slick ..
the door is great since its only a single arch zipper - no hard corners to turn .. ive rarely gotten it stuck - unlike every other tent ive encountered that gets stuck every third pull .. all the screens are well sewn in with tabs to hold the shades rolled up beneath them ..
the sizeis perfect for a couple with a doublesize mat and plenty of room to spare for belongings .. its just me tonight and its a small home - spacious!
for the price- youcant go wrong .. the quality feels like it will be durable - for now though - its back to the fire at hand
**UPDATE**
5 the time using it - had to set up in the wind last night and it wasn't as big of a struggle as i expected! super easy like any other time!
i also took additional photos to show the interior size once set up using a double size self inflating mat with a double size sleeping bag and blankets - you can see i still have room to store all my stuff at ghe edges and still have room to move comfortably
VERY happy with this tent - its already paid for itself

I love this tent! I'm a senior lady and I was able to put up and take down this tent in just a few minutes. I went on a two week horse camping trip and this tent held up throw some strong wind storms. Ventilation is great, I could cool down the tent quickly by opening all the windows. Plenty of room for my cot and camping gear. I also love the fact that it actually fits back in the bag when you put it away. Would recommend.
