Perfect as a work from home desk. Holds my laptop and wide screen monitor just fine. Have been using for a few months now with no issues. Height can be adjusted a little from the bottom or lifted on one or more corners to make it stable.
Was really easy to put together for me. Took about a 1/4 hour. Lots of space on top. I love this. Just make sure you have the correct parts when putting it together, I had to take it apart a few times. I am so happy to have space to work
The desk is very sturdy and stable. It’s simple but has a lot of spaces to use. Easy to install for one person. Perfect for study and official use. Shipped very quickly, heavy package. The desk is de assemble which is very convenient if you often move. Only thing they could’ve added is a leg rest. That would be nice to have.
This desk is a good value for a small, nice looking desk. The assembly was pretty easy except for one step, I needed to undo a bit of my work to get it right. All in all, I’m satisfied.
Desk arrived quickly, packaged well for proper protection and with all parts listed. It was easy enough for me to assemble myself with the allen wrench provided. One of the feet had wonky threads and wouldn't screw in all the way. I emailed the address provided in the instruction sheet and received a response within 24 hours. They sent new parts and I received them within 1 week. The new feet worked perfectly! I was very impressed with their prompt & courteous customer service!
The desk itself fits perfectly in my smaller space. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase!
Easy to assemble. The instruction sheet is simple diagram style with steps in numerical order. The only tool you need is the Allen wrench that is included. This is the 40 inch length desk. I have a larger laptop sitting on top and a full size keyboard for reference to size. I recommend getting a full size desk pad or you will scratch the surface of the particle board off.
I just got my desk and set it up by myself. The manual recommends two people do it, but it was so easy I just did it myself. I was even able to carry the package up the stairs since it only weighed 33 lbs.
I read some other reviews saying stuff about cracking the desk because the screws were too long. Idk if warehouse corrected the manual and/or the screws because the manual now warns people against tightening the screws too much. The screws that connect the legs to the board are separately labeled from the other screws and were not too long. I was very careful with this part and didn't damage my desk.
I got the 50" desk . It fits perfectly in my apt. It is light, but very sturdy. The manual says the desk has a weight capacity of 100 kg. I haven't tested that, but I (63 kg) can sit on the desk just fine. That is way more than what I will be putting on the desk anyway.
I'm only going to be living in this apartment for a few more months before I move somewhere else. I like that I can just as easily disassemble the desk and transport it to my next apt
I am so excited for this new desk. Thank you WarehouseChoice! It is affordable with a beautiful black and dark brown color combination for a modern look. These colors match the rest of the furniture in my room. The price is the most amazing part because it is the best quality, sturdy and for less than $200 bucks! I was able to assemble this BY MYSELF, so trust that you would be able to put it together as well. Pretty straightforward instructions.
I dont know why they chose to market this as easy to assemble. Took forever and im pretty savy with putting things together normally. There were pieces that didnt have places and the instructions explanations didnt fit how to solve the issue. I just removed the pieces (beams between table and legs)because it looked better without it anyway. Also kept the plastic holders on the tips of the table because without them the table looked too much like a board ok top of metal. Looks good now tho
I purchased the 50 inch table for a room roughly about 14x12. It fits perfectly in the corner. Not bad, considering I purchased it on sale with $20 off. It's particle board wrapped in laminate and not the strongest gauge of metal. When I was tightening up the screws, I could see the metal frame buckling from the pressure applied. Be easy when you are tightening them up, I encourage the purchase of spring loaded washers to make the assembly better. I am disappointed the table came with 1 large and 2 small scratches. However, as you can see the laptop covers them. Again, you get what you pay for. Not bad, not the greatest desk, but for the $$, the ROI will be on the plus side. On a side note, I used the edge protectors they sent to create a buffer and add protection to the corners. Just cut out a triangle in the center of the cover so that it will go over the metal frame. The clear bumper is aftermarket to ensure the toddlers are safe! ;)
I really like it. It was relatively easy to assemble, just make sure you have the sides with 2 holes for the braces on the same side as you assemble. Marking the pieces with their actual letters would have helped, but it only took an additional 10 minutes to fix my mistake.
My only real issue is that one of the leg adjustors, that you use to level it, once screwed in, came out. I didn't need any adjustments, so I just stuck it in when I put it in place.
As you can see by the photos it needed to fit in that particular space, and it did.
This is a pretty good desk at a budget price. The instructions are straight forward, explaining what each part is and where they go. The legs are metal, feeling hollow and light. The wood holds most of the weight with a sturdy and sleek design. On sale this is an easy to assemble, basic desk that can get you up and running for your desktop setup.
Reading other reviews, there seems to be an issue the the screw lengths, but that didn't seem to be the case during my assembly.
Nice product. First problem was one of the cutout wasn't fully aligned with the table so I only have 6 screws due to that. The picture with me pointing the hex key at the screw towards, I recommend getting 4 washers to go there due to the hole cutout being a little too big and to help support the bolt over time especially from sinking in. Other then that everything was good and I give it a 4 even with those two problems. A lot of space underneath the table as well which is a plus.
This table took me exactly 25 minutes to assemble. Follow the instructions and it's a breeze. Day 3 - so far, so good.
It feels sturdy (enough) and looks good. I'll need to get a clamp-on keyboard tray or high chair for ergonomics, but can't complain given the price point. It's a quick and easy solution to working from home temporarily. If you have very high exceptions, or need a home office long term solution, than you should probably spend more.
I have been working from home for the last 9 months, and let me tell you, I CANNOT believe it took me that long to invest in a nice, sturdy desk! I'm cramped into my bedroom as my room mate has her set up in the living room and i have gone from using a living room side table, to an old, rickety 22" computer desk, to this immaculate upgrade! I can finally spread out in the way i need to, as i am accustomed to using two screens when i can make it into my office. I'm basically still within the exact same amount of space that i've been using for the last 9 months but now it is all on one, even surface! My only regret is that i didn't wait for this model to become deal of the day! Assembly was a breeze, took me 15-25 minutes!
I have been using this table for 6 months now I feel pretty comfortable. I have been working from home due to pandemic, having desk helps me more focused and highly productive to manage my meeting and notes. The thing I like about this table is its sturdy and perfect height. It’s waterproof and scratch resistant. I have spilled water and coffee couple of times, but it did was very easy to clean and did not damage the table. I use it with a monitor and it’s pretty spacious as we bought a 50 inch long table. Overall I like this desk and would recommend to buy.
Then why did I give it four stars? Two things (both easily fixed, but still an inconvenience) Look at the picture - the slotted holes on the bottom of the frame are so close to the size of the screw heads that every screw pulled through. I solved this problem by removing the screws and adding a washer between the screw and the frame (see the same picture). Second, the Allen wrench that came with my desk was so soft that it had stripped before I put in the 4th screw. Luckily I had a 4 mm Allen wrench from my Harbor Freight T-Handle set. Seriously, if I had not had to stop and find four washers, I would have been done in 20 minutes. The directions are awesome, the illustrations are clear, and parts are easily identified (by numbers on the separate parts bags as well as the color and size of the screws). The finished product is beautiful, strong, and sturdy. I paid full price and would again if I need another desk this size.
This is such a nice desk for the money. First, it arrived without a scratch with ALL of its parts. Not a given with deconstructed furniture. More importantly, the instructions were clear, the parts were carefully labeled and it came with the Allen wrench tool you needed to put it all together. Each screw size was sorted into separate labeled baggies AND there was one extra screw of each size “just in case”. After years of putting together furniture, and suffering all the indignities and hilarious mishaps and missing or damaged parts this was a breath of fresh air. The desk is a perfect height for most standard dining chairs. It fits easily in a small corner and it’s made our lives so much easier. We use it for various tasks continuously throughout our day. This is a minimalist design. No drawers. Just a nice desk for computers, wrapping gifts, paying bills, etc.
I needed a desk for a small home office space and this one happened to be on sale. The box was damaged in several places when it showed up and I was expecting the desk to be damaged also, but it was packaged very well and didn't have a scratch on it. The directions to build it were clear and didn't require any tools that weren't included in the box. It recommended building it with a second person, but I was able to do it easily on my own in 20 minutes or so. Be careful not to over - tighten the screws or they may press against the desk surface and warp it slightly (this happened with one of mine). Other than that tiny mistake I'm thoroughly impressed with the desk, especially at the sale price I paid. The clean, minimal aesthetic will fit easily into many spaces and it looks great in my room. It's a comfortable height and offers plenty of leg room or storage space underneath. It's sturdy and even, comfortable to write on, and the surface seems waterproof and easy to clean. The black wood grain does pick up oils and fingerprints over time, but if it's kept clean it looks great. I'd definitely buy it again!
Love this! Fits my small sitting room perfectly. Item arrived unblemished.I was aware that the support brace in the back would need to be installed earlier in the process. install the support brace with lightly tightened screws before moving on to the center bar, then tighten all the screws once the center bar is in. This made all the difference and made the remainder of the installation super easy. I also agree with previous reviewers that you need to be careful about not over torquing the desktop screws from underneath. I kept a finger on the opposite side of where the screw was being put in and I could feel when the screw was getting close to breaching the desktop. If you are careful about these items, then I think you you’ll enjoy this very affordable desk for small spaces. It’s enough for my second monitor, my 13” laptop, and a few desk items. Love the depth. The legroom allows me to keep my paper files under my desk with plenty of room to spare. It’s sturdy, looks great, and I would totally buy another one again in the future if I have a need for one.
Like many in this country and the world, I tired of working off my kitchen table. This desk is perfect for what I need. Overall, I am very happy with what I got for the price. The desk is sturdy and perfect for a tri-monitor (laptop counting as one) set up. I can even fit a small lamp in the back corner!
Table was very easy to set up but you will want a little help when screwing in the crossbars. There were 2 support pieces I could not figure out how to attach as the spacing of the screw holes were mismatched. Table is plenty sturdy as is so no harm, no foul.
Shipping was delayed a couple days. Normally I would knock a star off but there are unprecedented times. We all need to be a little understanding. So even though that was kind of annoying, no penalty ratings wise.
Very satisfied with this purchase. Would definitely recommend.
This is the perfect desk if you have a small room but still need a desk. I got the 40" desk but still feel spacious. I really like the look of the teak version. You may need someone else's help putting this together though, depending on your skills.
It's very easy to install. My daughter have it all installed in ten minutes.Very stable, very practical. My daughter and I like it very much and recommend it.
This product is easy to assemble, but there are two tricks, I bought three of these and they took about 15 mins each when setting the cross bar it helps having a second person hold it until you get the screws set, check the screwes and measure them I noticed two of the screw bags were numbered wrong because the number 2 screws were 2 inches long when they are only supposed to be 1/4 inch this is probably why people were cracking the desktop. These are thin metal that can bend easy when tightening screws when tightening them with just a twist of the wrist and stop you won’t bend the metal. I would buy another 10 they would also make great tables, I used these for my computer setup.
