I bought this for my 15 pound dog to use as a window perch, so I could have the chair back I had placed in front of the window for her. And now she has her own space for when company visits and she has to give up her furniture spots. The only thing is my dog has a long body, so she's not really able to stretch out to use the top. But she can curl up if she wants to.

Many of the reviews said it was small but it's NOT. I love it and we lost the instructions but my husband was able to put it together using the pictures from the add. We have a toy poodle and a morkie and they both fit in it and still have room to move around. Super cute and looks beautiful on the patio.

Just the right size for small pets 15lbs and under. Wood unfinished. Could use a good sanding, painting, and/or varnish. Stairs are steep. Recommend putting rubber-like cover over steps for grip.

I’ve had my glaxtex dog house for about 5 years now....... and it’s still very sturdy! My dachshund loves it! I bought the step 2 ramp to go with it....... this makes it easier for him to get to the top. He loves to sit at the top. We just got another dachshund I’m considering getting another one since the our new baby took over his man cave.

It’s awesome Bella loves it.

I purchased this to be able to paint it. I would recommend painting before assembling.

Very cute and does the job. We have had it for a couple months now and it still looks great.

We got this house for our outdoor cat, she loves it. She uses both the hut and the rooftop terrace. It’s easy to assemble very sturdy and great looking.

We love this and so do our dogs. We did use our own steps, the ones that came with it was to smsll for our 6 pound yorkie to use. I love it.

My cat Shelby loves this house, she sleeps on the top and the bottom it's like 50/50 she loves both. This is a great product, easy to assemble - looks adorable and everyone who comes to my home loves it. My Beagle is 36 pounds and she is too big for it, she can go in the bottom but she can't turn around so I would say it would be better for a cat or a dog under 30 pounds but what a great great purchase this was!!! I thank the seller!!!!

Super easy to assemble. Ladder didn’t work so I did not attach. My chiweenie loves her dog house. She sleeps comfortably in the bottom and she runs up to look outside.

Dog house was very easy to assemble. We did use hot glue also during assembly to insure everything was secure. My three Furbabiies love it although are not crazy about the steps. I put non skid on each step. They will get used to it.

The instructions were so vague they could’ve been written much easier and I could’ve saved 45 min of my life. A few screws (2) were missing. As you can see it’s the perfect size for my min pin. The wood is chipping and full of splinters. I’m going to treat the wood just for longevity. Other than that I’m overall happy with it.

Pros: great price, very easy to assemble, my dogs love it, lightweight.
Cons: They need to update the steps to something that has a back.
Overall: I would recommend this product to anyone with a smaller dog/cat. I added my own steps and they fit perfectly.

Nice for a Cat , needed to sand everything before painting, not good craftsmanship!!
Sylvie P.
Came with splintered edges, holes didnt all line up, cracked step, stain smelled bad, took quite sometime to sand it all down and make steps line up but i decorated and put a pet heating pad inside and our little old lady pup loves it
Have to attach her little porch light yet

My baby girl is a 31 lbs Aussie. It’s definitely an indoor house….the wood didn’t seem to be treated to endure outdoor weather. And the wood itself is not super great quality either, one of the planks was already broken. I still made it work but yeah. I’d recommend it if you’re going to have it indoor with light use. If and eighty pound dog wants to jump on it, beware. Otherwise I think it’s perfect.

We bought this for our elderly blind cat. He loves it. :)
It keeps him warm in the garage ( he was an outdoor cat for most of his life ) and in conjunction with the 12'x12' vinyl floor, and ZENY Foldable Metal Exercise Pens (2) - he is safe from outdoor predators, and we aren't worry about him peeing all over the garage. :)
And yes - he loves sleeping in his little house, but we have noticed he doesn't really use the step much yet, but - he's an exceptionally smart cat.

This dog house was a great buy!...I wanted to get my dog off the floor and off of using my bed...The box was not in good condition when it came but the pieces to the house inside were in good condition... Putting it together was pretty easy but the measurements are off on some of the holes they don't line up exactly so you kinda have to make your own minor adjustments on some pieces but the wood is super easy to screw through!..It was super plain to me so I decided to spruce it up with some succulents..Roses and Faux Moss..this was a cool little project for me to do on my days off and a great addition to my room..Only took me a couple hrs and that's including decorating.. (PS..My dog is very uninterested in eating any of the decorations if you were wondering lol)

The box was pretty beaten up but the house was in good condition. It's cedar which smells nice and is a soft enough wood that you can assemble it with a screwdriver. It came together in an hour or so and only required one person. It's light enough to carry and the instructions are clear. We have it inside for our dog to get used to it but it's going outside. I don't know how it will hold up under weater.

This ended up being a pretty cute house. I was worried about it being too small, but it ended up being the perfect size. My boys may only be 20lbs but they are long and lanky.
It did come out of the box pretty rough. I took an extra trip to Home Depot to grab sanding blocks and I spent about 4 hours sanding down everything (I have hairless dogs so the last thing they or I need is a splinter). Afterwards I spent about 2 hours masking and painting. It went together really easily, but the wood isn't the best quality. It split a couple of times (which I was able to fix with support brackets and wood glue) and I ended up hitting a pretty gnarly knot which I had to fight through. I wrapped the steps with butcher's twine to give some grip for the pups and secured with more wood glue on the bottom (got the idea from another reviewer).
The finished product is handsome, sturdy, and I think worth the money and time I put into it. It did take a LOT more work to make ready than I anticipated. I wish someone had touched some of these panels with a rotary or hand sander before shipping it out. BUT all in all I would recommend this to a friend.
Now my pups can judge EVERYONE who walks by!

This was really easy to put together, all you really need is a Phillips head screwdriver; however, I used a drill to save on time. I would definitely suggest you make sure all the pieces fit before you tighten the screws, because they are not numbered which cause just a little confusion. It took me about 25 minutes to complete the whole project and I am quite satisfied with it. I will say, though, I am not completely convinced if this will hold up during the rain because the roof is wood slats. Overall, it is really cute, my dog loves it (and she is a spoiled Diva) and easy to move around to other locations of our house. To give you an idea of how tall it is, my dog does not use the stairs but jumps up onto the roof. She weighs about 15.5 pounds and is 12 years old. It is a good buy. If I can make a suggestion to the seller, you may want to label the pieces so that it would make it 100% easier to assemble.

Perfect for my cat! I wrapped the stairs and part of the second floor in twine for him to sharpen his nails. He lives napping downstairs. He doesn't go up and down the stairs but jumps instead. It's totally adorable.

LOVE IT! Its so nice and it was easy to put together. Lots of complimements!

Cute den for any dog under 15 pounds. The wood is unfinished, but can’t complain because of the price and free shipping. The house is really easy to assemble and took about 20 min. to complete. It’s definitely a great purchase for little dogs and cats.

I was trying to find a little "Penthouse" for my Pom Cleo so she could be more eye level with me in my office. I wasn't trying to break the bank and but I also didnt want to spent too much building it. I think for the value, you get what you pay for. I read several reviews and agree with most of them. Below are some of the pros and cons:
Con:
-The wood is splintered in some spots. Overall the wood quality is cheap but I expected that.
-Some of the pre drilled holes were off, which wasn't a big deal. I aligned it myself and just drilled a new hole.
-You cant tighten the screws too much or you can splinter the wood really easy.
-The stairs are absolutely worthless. I have no clue how any dog can actually use them. I just tossed them out and bought some stairs from pet smart for $20.
-I did notice some spots weren't stained evenly. That wasn't a big deal for me anyways because I was planning on painting it.
-I was missing long screws. I had to go into my set of screws to find some that would be long enough.
Pros:
-It is a great size for my 8lb pom.
-It was super easy to build (except the annoying stairs).
-If you add a couple extra screws, you can reinforce it to make it pretty sturdy.
-Painted really easy!
Overall, I like this little house. I bought it knowing I wanted to make some modifications myself. I think overall for the price, its worth it. My little Pom loves it and its the perfect size. It isn't too bulky and fits nicely in my office. I would just highly suggest you get new steps for it.

I would have given this 5 stars, but the wood is splintered in a lot of places. It’s not a good finish. It was fairly simple to assemble. The panels aren’t labeled for easy identification, but that’s not too difficult to figure out. Just make sure you know what’s what before you begin to screw it together.
The ladder is more for a cat than for any size dog. So, we didn’t bother attaching it. We put a small step in place of the ladder, which works perfect for our 13 lb dog. I don’t think there are too many dogs who would climb a ladder.
All in all, my dog loves it.

Great product. As a lady I assembled it just fine. Lay out all parts. Look at the diagram closely. If I can do it, you can. Look at how great it turned out by the pics I uploaded. My dog loves it!

Perfect for my shitz zu.

Wow! Arrived a week earlier than expected, no package damage and very easy to assemble with one person and the wood smells wonderful. I recommend this product.
Lara V.
Its super cute. The opening I was hoping would be bigger but that was my fault not reliving my dogo was bigger then I thought. It smells devine too. I don't think it would be water proof though. I love it.
Antoine C.
There are no pre-drill holes so you have to do them yourself they ladder isn't all that great but without the letter it works great because the dogs refuse to use it because he steps are the same size but other than that it works great in the dogs love it
