The Holy Stone HS110 is a great drone for beginners and advanced pilots. You get all the same features of the high dollar models no need to fork out hundreds of dollars. The cam takes pretty good pics as I have attached. Very important, read all instructions prior to use. There are calibration procedures that are required and should be done before every use. Once you know it it takes all is 30 seconds. Then you will not have any issues. Very simple to control and lots of fun. The range is awesome with the live video feed. You can fly with or without using your phone but I would highly recommend using your phone to keep better eye on your settings, signal strengths and power.
Another good one from Holy Stone.

Firstly, I loved the fact that this drone does not have to be registered with the FAA. It's very lightweight and with the backpack, makes a great lightweight package to carry with you wherever you might go.
The setup and learning curve is easy, and is common among most of the Holy Stone drones. The app you download for the phone is pretty easy too. I only used the iOS version, but I'm sure the Android version is equally simple to navigate.
Flying the drone is a breeze. Although, if you have a strong breeze, this drone is light enough it will get blown around a little, which is common for most drones. The video relays to the phone well and I didn't have any issues with it.
Overall I would say this is a great beginner drone if you're just starting out and want something that works great and has a simple learning curve. I highly recommend it for younger children.

Great product! It doesn't have all the bells and whistles in regards to being able to do flips and tricks and stuff, but if you want a drone that is stable, easy to learn and works as it's supposed to, then this is the one for you. I've tested every feature and they all work as advertised. This drone will follow you, take off & land and even return to home all with the press of a button. Better yet, it will return to home automatically if you fly it out of range or if the battery is too low. It's practically idiot proof.

The drone is amazingly light. I initially thought I would have problems flying if there was wind because it was so light, but surprisingly the drone was not affected at all. It very easy to fly, and I love the transmitter. It feels very durable and comfortable when holding it. The transmitter also has a builtin rechargeable battery, which charges really fast. The drone responds to the transmitter instantly there is no delay. The camera on the drone is really nice HD quality. I was able to get approximately 14 minutes of flight time out of each battery. The GPS function really works as it was able to return home and land precisely where it took off from. The follow me feature does really work. One of the best things that I love about the drone is the carrying case. The case is really nice and durable. Because of the lightweight of the drone, the carrying case just makes it so easy for traveling. If you are a beginner, you will have no issues learning to fly from this drone.

You will not find a better drone for the price, I have been flying drones for several years now and I was very skeptical to Fly it at first because it is very light compared to the weight of my DJI Phatom 3 Professional, let me tell you that this drone flew just as nice as my $1000 DJI for an 1/8 of the price. The camera works great and the controller is solid and easy to navigate. I flew it in light winds and it hovered great without me having to hold the controller, in fact in the video I put the controller down so I could grab my iPad and video tape it. This is a great drone for the beginner and advanced flyers! You won’t be disappointed.

This is a nice little drone. I tried out the send to GPS function (you click a spot on the map and send the drone there), as well as the come home function and they worked well. The follow me is a neat feature many drones in this price range don't have. When taking video the drone will tilt as you pilot, so the video will reflect that movement, but you can learn to pilot around that and stabilize the drone before getting the shot you want.
The drone comes in a very nice case that keeps it well protected and includes backup props if you have an accident. The extra battery is nice as well. Overall this is a nice little drone and has a good amount of functionality for this price range.

This is very fun to fly drone, equipped with GPS, SD card slot and a very good camera. It also comes with carrying case and extra battery, which gives you double flying time.
It is very light (I think it is less than 250grams with battery), which means you don't need to register it.
Camera works very well (see attached video) and does not have the round edges like other brands out there, which is very nice. Application also works very well and the Return To Home was very accurate.
Also, it is pretty stable with light wind (seen in the video), which is very impressive considering its light weight
Overall - very nice and fun drone. Highly recommended!

The Holy Stone HS110G is a great drone for a beginner, not only because of its features like Headless Mode that ease the job of learning to fly but also because it comes as a package that contains the drone, remote control, two batteries and a very nice fitted carrying case all at a price point that makes it one of the least expensive GPS drones around. And if that isn’t enough it comes from Holy Stone, a drone company with an excellent reputation for its customer support.
You get a lot of bang for the buck with the Holy Stone HS110G: GPS, a camera, two batteries, nice case, good support. It has headless mode, GPS and multiple flight speeds which really help a beginner learn to fly while minimizing crashes and reducing the risk of loss. And it appears to be fairly robust so you can fly again after most crashes. If you’re on a tight budget and just want to try drone flying it makes a great starting drone.

The HS110G quadcopter is an amazingly capable drone for this price point! Let’s begin with the drone itself. It is lightweight and durable and comes with two batteries so you have considerable flight time. The setup and calibration are quick and easy. The drone uses GPS and IMU units to stabilize it which simplifies piloting. I love the design of their controller which allows you to mount your iPhone or Android device right above your joysticks. The Holy Stone app (pictured above) works great to help you set up the drone and to view the camera to set up pictures and video. The pictures and video save directly to your phone which great! The return to home, follow me, and hand gestures features work great. I love that Holy Stone includes limits in the remote app to prevent fly-always. If you are considering getting into drones this is the perfect learning platform at an extremely affordable price.

This is a really nice GPS drone with a good set of features. The controller is simple and nicely laid out. I did have a small issue with the drone moving in small circles while hovering with no input but I went through the compass and gyro calibration and it became way more stable. the camera takes decent photo & video but does not have gimbal or any other image stabilization(but I knew that when I bought it). The packaging and padded travel bag that came with the drone are very nice and would present well for a gift. The extra battery is a nice addition because who wants to go back inside when the first battery is dead??
Overall I find the HS110G to be a great value for the money and the GPS control gives a new pilot the confidence to take their eyes off the drone quickly when they need to look at the controller markings, its always nice to know the drone will still be hovering in the same spot when you look back up.

I got this drone after my son's great experience with his HS110D. I have been flying myself for a few weeks so I felt like I knew what I was doing. I learned that this drone was a bit more complex with its GPS. In addition to the gyros requiring calibration before each flight, it has a compass that requires calibration also. I also learned that when the battery is about to die, it doesn't land where it is, it quickly flies home. When home is on your deck, that's not good :). The drone has stood up well to the abuse of a new user. Hopefully I am done with crashing this drone.
Everything is well documented in the provided user's manual so once I spent time studying that more, I was good to go. I also learned that GPS mode isn't appropriate for all flying situations. In my backyard the GPS signal is weak so it's better to fly in altitude mode (non GPS). Compared to my son's HS110D (which is the same as this drone with no GPS) this is definitely more advanced.
The controller is REALLY nice feeling and made of high quality thick and sturdy plastic. The phone app, which I run on an old Samsung S5 I had laying around, works great. It's nice seeing my altitude :).
I have taken it to 30m high. This is where the GPS really helps. The GPS keeps it steady so while you are managing the height and using the yaw to take different pictures, you don't have to worry about keeping the drone steady. As I get more experience and more confidence in this drone, I'll take it higher. Having experienced a high altitude flyaway with a different drone from a different manufacturer, I'm a bit reluctant at this point.
I am really happy with this drone and my purchase. I look forward to practicing flying it and getting as adept as my son! Having a carry/storage case is a great bonus!

This little drone rocks. It is stable from the GPS. It flies like a champ for its size. I had a blast flying it. Do not fly on windy days it is really light weight. It held the 5+ mph wind today but struggled a bit. It functions as it should make sure to have a micro sd in it, if it saves to phone it drops to 720p . I would recommend as a great beginner drone or just all around good drone to fly. The flight time will vary based on if you are recording and the conditions. I got 10 min in the light wind and 8 when recording the whole time. Make sure to read and understand the instruction on calibrating.

I have a couple drones and other RC products. The Holy Stone HS110G stands out as one of the best I have flown.

The packaging is awesome! I've personally never seen a case as good as this one. Everything has a place and fits securely and safely. The drone is very light, but seems sturdy and strong. It comes with an extra set of landing gear and props in case you get into any hard crashed. But the drone is so light that crash damage tends to be very minimal if any. Ive crashed 3 or 4 times into trees and there is no sign of damage, even on the props. I love that it comes with 2 batteries, and the flight times the company suggests are accurate.
