We love our screen porch but this time of year its too cold for us to enjoy it. Enter the Mainstays Gas Fire Pit. Construction was not horrible but takes patience and good lighting. Im not very handy but had it assembled in about 30-45 minutes from box opening to completion. Instructions were very clear. After purging air from the line it lit right up and provides a nice flame and good heat output. Ive already decided to replace the lava rocks with glass but thats just personal preference. The queen enjoys it too which really is all that matters. Lastly I compared prices and this is very competitively priced. I recommend this product

I've been waiting to purchase an affordable, good quality propane firepit! This one seems to be worth the money! Purchased for $192 and it's cheaper than most firepits out there! Took about 50 minute to put together and worked great our first night using it! Pictures are of it on Low

This is a good gas firepit that works as intended. The only issue we have had with it is that water likes to leak into the lava rocks through one of the crevaces on the lid. This hasn't been a major issue, though and overall, we are very happy with this product!

This fire pit is a great addition to our patio! It has been so nice having this to warm up on chilly evenings. It also creates a very nice ambiance. I can't wait for the weather here to warm up a bit so we can once again enjoy sitting outside around the fire. My only issue is I feel sometimes it take a few tries to get it to ignite.

Great fire table for the price! I had taken out the Lava rocks and put in glass... beautiful at night. We had a issue initially getting it lit because I put glass around the ignighter box(or whatever the technical name was, picture included) but Glen in their customer service walked me theough the correct way to light it (which is light and hold for 15 sec, not like a BBQ, its a safety feature) and it worked perfect everytime! Have to say that was the best customer service Iâve had from a company in a long time. Plus, comes with a great cover for when its not in use!

Easy directions and assembly, My teen son and I put this together pretty quickly. We did exchange the rock for some Dragon Glass to suite our personal taste a little more but this firepit has already been the focal point of several family memories!

I don't usually write reviews but since I have been doing a lot of online shopping lately I've had to base some of my purchase decisions off of reviews so I thought I should contribute. Here goes my thoughts... My husband spent about an hour assembling it and we were roasting smore's by dark. LOVE IT! Perfect square fireplace. Classic clean lines. Assembly was straight forward. Love the look AND the function. Bonus that the top has a lid so I can use it as a table when we are not using the fire feature. Very happy with this purchase and I look forward to using it all season long. After this first experience I recommend this fire pit with five stars.

The perfect size for my patio. Takes 2 people to assemble but it wasn't too difficult. The adjustable flame is great and I like having a cover in addition to the pit lid. I bought glass rocks instead of using the provided lava rocks. Beautiful ❤️

If any water gets under your cover, I guess expect this to happen, a bunch of faded paint. Quite a bummer for $150. We made sure to cover it before any rain fall but it didnât matter. However, the actual funtion for the fire pit works great

Our family loves this fire pit. It was fairly simple to assemble and it is sturdy once you get it put together. It works great and looks so nice on our patio. My kids love to use it to make s'mores and we're excited for the weather to cool down so we can use it more often.

The 28 Square Gas Burning Fire Pit with Cover was pretty easy to put together unless you have big wobbly fingers like I do. Right now we use it as something to look at but I can not wait for the cool nights to really enjoy it. It was very well packaged and we only found minor scratching and a slight dent in one corner. My only fault I find is the lava rock chamber is too small. It needs to be deeper other wise you have to get the rocks just right or the lid will not close.

This fire pit was very easy to assemble. I could have done it by myself, but it was nice to have a second set of hands to balance the side panels. It took 20-30 minutes from start to finish. The unit feels sturdy and solid. The lite/control knob is a little finicky and the instructions on the fire pit conflicted with the instructions that were inside the package. The papers say to light using a lighter or match, but when you turn the knob it clearly "clicks" and lights on its own. The knob needs to be pushed in slightly to control the flames but often seems stuck and unable to move at all. I know in my brain it's a mostly safe set-up, but fire, control knobs and gas tanks always make me feel uneasy, so wish the control was smoother. The lava rocks are kinda blah looking so I've already ordered replacement glass. One thing of note is that in order to put the lid/cover on the fire area (to make it a table), the lava or glass can't stick up much at all or the cover won't lay flat. This lives under our covered deck so will only get limited rain and sun so am looking forward to using this for several years to come.

This firepit is easy to assemble. It is on the heavy side which provides great stability. The underside completely covers the propane tank. The provided cover allows it to stay clean and protected from the weather. Very easy to use. Great size. Provides a nice amount of heat.

Easy to assemble the directions are very clear you only need a Philips screwdriver for assembly and a propane tank of course. It was assembled and ready to use within 25 minutes, very easy hook up. It starts right up every time, very easy to use . It has good flow and the flame is adjustable. This is a sturdy heavy duty unit, not tippy at all. It creates the perfect ambience and heat. It comes with lava rocks but I would recommend getting another bag or some fire stones. It is very appealing to the eye... stylish. This is a quality product I would recommend.

It's pretty good so far the only problem is that it has already started to rust and the close doesn't stay closed. I've only had it for a week if that. It also has a loud whistle noise if you put the knob in the middle so I have to keep it all the way up when I use it :/

This fire pit is beautifully made and truly easy to assemble. I am female, over 60 and I did not require any assistance. The directions are well written. It took me about 25 minutes with only a Phillips screwdriver. I love the electronic ignition (takes one AAA battery that is included). It has leveling knobs on the bottom to accommodate the slope of my patio. The lava rocks are included as well as a hard lid and a soft cover to cover the entire fire pit. The propane tank is hidden underneath. This is a 10 of 10 stars for me!!

I have nothing but great things to say about this fire pit. I assembled it by myself in less than an hour, the instructions were easy to follow, it was not too heavy but felt sturdy. I live in East Texas and our weather is cooling down finally after another long hot summer. Coupled with our humidity the evenings on my patio are nice and comfortable with this fire pit. This is an outdoor decorative as well as functional fireplace/ fire pit. It is not intended for cooking food. It is not a barbecue pit. This will provide heat for chilly weather. Mostly I wanted it for the ambiance. Beautiful decorative outdoor living accessory. It's the size of a larger taller end table, and it has a cabinet type storage compartment underneath, for the propane tank. Yes it works on propane for fuel. It's not electric. No cord to trip over. Propane fire provides nice heat! I can't wait for the weather in deep South Texas to get cold enough to put my new mainstays fire pit to good use.

This is such a nice fire table and it's a great price! Other reviews mentioned issues with the ignitor. We only had issues when the lava rocks were blocking it. Once I moved them away from it we haven't had any issues at all. 10/10 would recommend. This is a fraction of the price of others and I love the way it looks.

Lighting it up is not the easiest, but I didnt expect much for what I paid for. I thought worse case scenario, its still a very fair priced outdoor table with cover. But eventually it started to light up when my husband took out the big lighter for the barbecue. As long as it works, Im happy!

I really like this Mainstays Gas Burning Fire Pit. The Fire Pit is all metal and a dark in color. It does come with a black color cover. The cover is very nice and fits perfect. Included also is a heavy duty bag of rocks that are placed in the top. What I really like about this fire pit, it has a metal lid cover, as well. When not in used the lid fits in over the rocks. If you wish, you can actually use this item as a table when not lit of course. Presently I have it sitting on my deck but I am going to place it in the yard on concrete pavers. I assembled this product by myself and that was a little cumbersome. My issue was inserting the screws and holding the metal sides in line at the same time. Fear not, if you plan to assemble this yourself. I have some pointers for you. Take a patio cushion and place at the rise so you can take the weight off holding the sides up. In addition, you can kneel on the patio cushion making it comfortable. If you have a magnetic Phillips screw driver, it will be easier but I used a standard Phillips. Make sure you look at the images in the assembly instructions booklet. Put it together exactly as it displays in the images. One side panel has two holes and that is to slide through the control knobs. Caddy corner from that panel, is where you will place the door panel. Each leg has an opening that goes inward, not outward. Gas tank is not included. It's heavy duty and looks very nice. It will be very great this Fall and Winter especially to sit outside comfortably near this Mainstays Gas Burning Fire Pit.
