So far I've had them a month and they're great. They are staying together nicely, which I was worried about especially because I wanted to stack them but honestly I've had no problems. It houses a curly hair tarantula and an Asian forest scorpion great they seem to be the perfect size. My only complaint are it does feel really flimsy when moving them around not where I'm worried but it feels like one day it might give out but if u don't stack them u probably won't need to move it often so they should last longer. Id also like the try to be a little deep just an inch or so. My tarantula doesn't burrow but my scorpion does. Also if u mist the cage, water can slide between the tray and the wall and slide under it which only matters to me cuz I have a wire shelf. The lid also dips at the pivot which happens to be my Ts spot n scares her. If u can handle those things you should be good. The minus' aren't that bad n most can be worked around. For 30 buck you don't have to don't have to be handy but can enjoy putting this cage together its not a bad cage some flaws but for a pet store terrestrials cage it's probably the best and safest for your T on the market. Next time I think I'm gonna go diy but this is not a bad cage if don't decide to go that route. And I honestly say I would prefer beginner get this instead of anything else it's the only thing made for tarantulas and other bugs that size. Also if it's your tarantula, or any pet for that matter, looks small in this cage your pet is will escape. Especially slings which can stay and will be happy in a deli cups for much long than you'd think.

This large size habitat is perfect for an adult tarantula. This is so easy to assemble, the pieces slide right together and are reinforced with clear bands. The lid slides up to open can can be latched shut once put down. There are plenty of air holes for proper ventilation. This is a wonderful setup that allows me to see and enjoy my pet from all angles.

I loved this so much I also purchased one for my mother to create terrariums with as well. It is super easy to assemble, fun to design and will even hold water in the bottom tray. I had a blast designing a terrarium with in this box.There are vents on the side to move the air and the lid also has a lock if you were to put any critters in it. Personally I don't think its large enough for much more then a small frog, lizard or bugs. You can also create natural habitats for insects and more that kids can learn from and enjoy. It is super easy to put together and the only negative this I could say is that it does scratch easily so be careful when you clean it. Otherwise, I LOVE this product and look forward to getting more from this company.

My kids love to catch a bug, snail, toad, even a snake... It's not unusual for us to have a random bug pet for a couple days. I bought a mesh bug habitat that folds down flat when not in use. But it only has one clear panel for viewing and because of the wrinkles, it's not ideal. So we usually use a quart glass jar, and poke holes in the lid. This also isn't ideal because the glass is thick and the corners distort things a little. This is 100% crystal clear. I thought the tabs would be annoying but they're brilliant because they do three things: - they prevent a curved corner that would cause distortion - they prevent a sharp corner that would cause a weak spot - they allow us to take it apart when not in use, and store it flat It's not waterproof, except the bottom 2 inches. So you can water the plants safely. Air circulates easily so condensation doesn't build up like it does in a terrarium. The pieces all come with plastic wrap on them to protect them from scratches during shipping. They're easy enough to peel off.
