I got this for my grandson for Christmas and his dad put it together easily, he told me, in about an hour. It is attractive with the stain finish and the benches just slide in and out. The canopy is solid and seems good quality. Overall a great sandbox with plastic covers for the sharp corners to protect the little ones from too many bruises.

My neighbor’s cat as well as assorted suburban wildlife creatures visit my backyard, so it is absolutely essential for my sandbox to have a cover to prevent it from becoming a litter box. This sandbox’s cover works perfectly for preventing that from happening and it also doubles as canopy that helps to protect my kids from the sun when they are playing in the sand. The canopy/cover is made of sturdy and durable nylon fabric. It is very easy to move it up and down and to lock it in place. The box is made of beautiful wood. The wood is smooth and I didn’t have any splinters. It was very easy to assemble this sandbox. All pieces were labeled and all pieces lined up perfectly. My kids love playing in this spacious sandbox. The edges/benches are wide enough for them to sit comfortably and they also like to use them for racing cars. We are very pleased with this practical, well designed and executed sandbox. It gets big thumbs up from us!

This Sandbox with Adjustable Canopy is very spacious and can easily hold up to four kids, with seating on all four corners and a canopy that doubles as a sandbox cover. The canopy is very easily adjustable and can be moved up and down, as well as tilted all the way to a 90-degree angle to accommodate the location of the sun, casting a shadow for the comfort of the child or children playing in the sandbox.The overall look and functionality of this sandbox is one of quality and durability. The set includes a base cover that you place under the sandbox for the sand to sit on top of, preventing the soil or gravel that you place your sandbox on top of from mixing in with the sand. It takes approximately four bags of 0.5 Cu.ft. play sand to fill it and this gives a lot of space and sand for children to enjoy and play. My nine-year-old, six-year-old and three-year-old have had so much fun playing together in this sandpit.The assembly is a bit more involved and not entirely simple, although the provided manual is very clear and easy to follow. Some of the steps require you to drill into the wood where there are no marks or guides, which makes it important that you ensure you are drilling in the correct location. There is no real guesswork but a bit more involved measuring and drilling. Personally, I would recommend using power tools but hand tools would work as well, only they would take much longer to complete assembly. All the parts are clearly labelled in both the manual and through stickers and separate bags. It did take approximately an hour for me to completely assemble this sandbox, not including adding the sand.All in all, this is a fantastic set that will last a very long time. It is a very fun set for all ages and has plenty of space to play in. The design is great for yards that do not have much shade and the canopy protects the sand from animals and the harsh elements (such as wind, rain and snow). It is very straightforward to use after assembly. The overall look is pleasing and can complement a variety of outdoor decorative themes. I would definitely recommend this sandbox.

Had to use a manual screwdriver for the first few steps due to screw placement, but was easy to handle. The structure itself is light enough that I assembled it under a covered patio(out of the sun) and could carry it out to my yard. The lid slides down and covers the box perfectly. I lined the bottom with garden fabric/cloth and it was almost filled to the top with 7-50lbs bags of play sand I picked from Home Depot.

I’m on the fence for this product: Positives- my 3yo loves it, all of the hardware came with it no piece nothing forgotten, closes like it should Negatives- as pictured the canopy cover was ruined by who knows what, I probably should’ve just build this myself with 2x4s, not as big as I originally thought but that’s on me. So meh...

My daughter really likes to play in the sand and would play in there all day if she could. This sandbox is legit and was not difficult to put together. I really like that it includes a canopy so there is shade when they need it - plus it looks cute. I picked up some play sand at the local big box store and filled it up with a few bags. Now she and her cousins can play to their heart’s content. Definitely saves us gas money from driving to the coast.

All you need to put this together is a screwdriver, it comes with the manual and all and is very easy to assemble and my kids love it! They play in it all day! I love the canopy and how it’s weatherproof and protects the kids from the sun and rain! The benches can be removed for extra room or left on one side, they don’t screw in so you don’t have to deal with that chore but they’re still safe to sit on!

This thing was easy to assemble and came with all parts. The grand kids (3 and 5 years old) loved it. I like the fact it blocks the sun (I modified mine to tilt.) and has a lid to keep cats and other critters out.
