It arrived exactly as described, was easy to assemble and is sturdy enough (mounted to a cinder-block wall) that we have had no issues whatsoever with the platform wiggling or shimmying during use. The wall mounts could be a bit thicker as the adjusting knobs are very close to the wall - they turn freely, but there is not room for the fingers that turn them. Still, very satisfied with this platform.

For the price this is definitely a great product. It's built well enough and the wooden platform is heavy enough that it works perfectly and doesn't wobble or bounce around. That was my main concern when buying this because I've read a lot of reviews of other products and the main issue is when a platform isn't strong and heavy enough and the bag won't bounce properly. This setup was very easy to install to my cinderblock garage wall and it works great. I would highly recommend this to someone looking to get into speedbag workouts and even someone that routinely boxes. I wouldn't recommend this for a gym because if people are pounding on it all day long it won't last more than a couple years. But great for a homeowner.

I am just starting to learn the speed bag and this system was exactly what I needed. Easy to install and very sturdy. I got a good medium bag from another source and have no complaints on how this system works. I do not have to adjust the height as I am the only one using it, but the option to adjust it is there. I would highly recommend this system to anybody who wants to try out the speed bag and not spend a lot of money.

I have had this speed bag platform for over 6 months and it has held up very well. I use it everyday after I get home from work as part of my workout routine. It is built very well and the mounts for the platform hold up well.

This is a great speed bag platform for the price. Installation was very easy. The width of the holes was the right length to install directly into the studs in my garage. Installation went fairly quick.

It’s a quality product and so easy to install. The instructions are well written and each part is labeled to match the assembly diagram and instructions. Hung it in the basement. Mounting hardware will be needed. The mounting holes are 16” on center and large wood screws worked great! I highly recommend this product!
All in all, happy with the purchase, but I'll be making DIY upgrades as I go along to improve on the base design. This is a perfect starting place though.

Overall best speed bag I have owned and fantastic for the money. My only complaint is the platform is not as thick as I would like and vibrates through the wall too much. I placed 40lbs sand bags on top to mitigate that. That approach worked well and for that reason I give the product a higher rating.

This is the best all around I could find for the price. My brother had just purchased it, and I installed it for him. Researched a few more days and bought one myself. Some of the nuts pre installed into the 2 wood pieces are just quickly set in by the factory. It's as easy as threading a bolt into the opposite side and straightening them up.. see pic.. I mounted my brothers through drywall into wall studs using good deck screws with washers on them, and mine into block mortar joints with mushroom head hammer in anchors. Both worked fine. If anything, mine is a bit quieter in the house due to being mounted to concrete block basement wall. A bit expensive, but all in all, I'm happy with it. So is he.

If you were really big and super strong it might not be sturdy enough but I think it’s fine for most daily users.
You need to mount it to studs in a wall otherwise.
It’s not difficult but you need a drill & the hardware and the driver bit for the hex head Tapcons.

This is exactly what I needed! Everyone who walks by it and has to hit it and it holds up. Everything is sturdy. I mounted it in studs which is a must, and I can hear a little rumble throughout the house, but I'm happy about it. Its not annoying, I can just hear someone is exercising. I'll upgrade the bag as my kids get older, but for now it it works perfect anyway. It's almost a conversation piece when people come over. I'm thrilled by the results. I like that it works with a low 8 ft ceiling. I haven't really adjusted it up and down, but it has been very stable as it stays in the same spot. Easy to remove the bag if I need.

This speedbag platform is an extremely well-built, sturdy piece of hardware that one would typically have to spend much more money in order to get the same type of quality and response. It comes with everything needed in order to assemble it, but, it does lack the wall mount and wall mount screws needed for installation.
The swivel and speed bag that came with the package are definitely adequate additions to the system; but, I chose to get myself a more professional swivel and bag due to my previous experience as a competitor. Regardless though, I will be keeping each of those items for back-up in case anything should happen to my current and preferred set-up.
For me personally, I bought this set-up specifically for the wooden platform and everything else that came with it was just icing on the cake. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and I would definitely say that if you're thinking about getting this product, purchase it with confidence. You will be very pleased.
